Default Ordered the GS-D3 's & OUCH!

Well I finally am saying goodbye to my original Goodyear GS-C tires. Still have tread left but they are feeling 'old' and I guess they are. The Goodyear GS-D3 tire is just raved about and I will soon find out for myself at $183 per tire (at least that includes the Road Force balancing and all costs of getting them on the car). I'll post again to let everyone know if I am as satisfied as most everyone else is. I am sure I will be but that's a lot of $$$. I could have put cheaper rubber on but why be cheap when everything else costs so much, from gas to insurance. I may as well spend on myself for a change.

They are very good tires for the $$ IMO. Enjoy!

thats cheap for gsd3's, i was quoted about 1300 for 4 275/40/17

hope youll enjoy them ive heard they handle amazing, only downside is because theyre so soft they dont last as long as alot of tires. but the handleing will make up for that

Pretty sure they aren't 315s if they are only 183 a tire. I really want them for my next tires, but not looking forward to paying $290+ per rear tire.

The ones I ordered are the original equipment size for my T/A at 245/50ZR16. http://www.tirerack.com has them for $168 but you still need to pay shipping, any taxes, plus the installation, balance, etc... I guess my $183 for everything is decent but it still is a lot. Thanks for the encouraging words from those that have them. It is appreciated. I just called the dealer and they haven't arrived yet so I hopefully will be getting them tomorrow.

Yeah just be happy you aren't buying 18 or 19 inchers. I want to go to 295/35/18 out back but they are nearly $300 each!

Default Got 'em

Just came home a few hours ago with the new GS-D3s. It was just a 10 mile ride home but I am quite impressed. The handling is obviously way better and I believe the ride was smoother as well (a plus for my wife). It is quite an impressive tire with just a super aggressive tread design. The rating is AA & A for the ultimate summer performance in dry and wet. I normally don't like going out in the rain but it is nice to have the confidence in these. It was a real pleasure spending the $$$ on myself instead of doctors, taxes, insurance, or any of the other lousy things you have to pay for. Again. thanks for your opinions, and my heart goes out to you guys that have the larger size wheels. That's a double OUCH!!

Default $50 Rebate

http://www.goodyeartires.com/promotions/
Just learned about the $50 Goodyear rebate. That helps a little and I'll take it! The rebate offer is good for most Goodyear tires from June 7 to July 5. If anyone recently bought some tires or plans on it soon, you can download the form right on the Goodyear site.
