i found a complete set (4) of Michelin Pilot Sport tires 285-40-17 w/ maby 3K on them for $400 is this a deal worth doing? i got a big road trip planned...from GA to ME then to NY back to GA then to FL and back to GA....but i dont wana get hosed...

how is the tread wear/ any known problems? sidewall issues?

Check DOTs and if they are less than 3 years old go for it. Sounds like a fair deal.
