Is it me, or do the tires stick out too much on the back?

Not it is not your imagination, the backs do stick out a but more because I am using a 6.5 BS vs a 7.5 BS (which is what most use). Unfortunately I got a steal on these rims so that is what I am working with. It is quite amazing how these wheels change the look of the entire car, I am happy with the appearance and performance (although I will look to trade for some 7.5 BS down the road)

To the "why no center caps comment"......This is Tampa baby, no fbody's rock the caps!

he either has 6.5 backspacing, or 325 rear tires..cus they do like they stick out.

appears you might need new front tires?

No, they stick out a bit. I'd bet they are the 6.5" bs instead of the usual 7.5 for a Camaro. T/A's can run the 6.5 without them sticking out (that's what I had on my WS6).

6.5 BS and 325's No rub whatsoever! (I have already had a run with them https://ls1tech.com/forums/street-racing-kill-stories/967108-cannibalized.html and tried a few 3500-4000 rpm launches) The car fully squatting is about 1/2" off the tire still.....at least I hope

Havok, is your car m6 or auto?

Do you think I should roll the fenders? My worry is that they will not roll out enough to cover the tire so it may look worse...
The plan was to roll around on the stock fronts for a while....but aint it funny how plans change

Everybody rocks the rusty looking axles down there? I'd atleast throw some spraypaint back there.

his car may not squat as bad as some other peoples, mine doesnt. it all depends on the way you set up your suspension. draglites definatly look good on camaros, and you can never fault a guy for using a good deal.

I like how they stick out though. Looks more like old-school muscle than most cars you see today.

Those 6.5" bs will fit in perfect if you shorten the axle.
But here's a few pics of a 7.5" bs on stock size axle running the same 325/50's on 15x10's:

Those 6.5" draglites looks alot better than the 7.5" bs- more lip. Personally, I would keep them untill I get the Strange 12bolt w/ shorten axle.

So, Mundelein was your old domain, huh? I love it here. Been here since I got out of the Marine Corp in 1990. Where are you at now?
