Default 35th Anniversary Wheel price

I've already spent too much on my car this year, but I came across a set of 35th Anniversary wheels for $600. Do you guys think this is a good price?

Also, I want my car to look pretty much stock, but I want to go with 17" wheels eventually. Do you think chrome ZR1's will look more "stock" on a LT1 than the 35th's? Right now I just have the stock five-spoke 16" chromes.

35ths, man...that sounds like a reasonable price to me, plus they'll look killer on a silver LT1

I would jump on those if they are in good shape.

maybe this will help you make up your mind. They aren't exactly 35th wheels, because I painted regular SS wheels gunmetal and then added the black 35th portion, but you get the idea.

Well, I called the guy back and he said they were $600 and he'd just take a deposit and I can take a while paying for them. I guess based on ALL the comments in this thread, I've got to get them.

Seriously, after checking around, this looks like a GOOD price for this type of wheel. It's probably going to be a year before I get them on the car because I really can't afford 17" tires.

If I change my mind, I'll let people in the area know where they are for sale.

Default Taking a pass...

After thinking about it, I decided to pass on the wheels, even though I now know $600 is a good price for these wheels. I just don't think I can afford or justify the wheels AND 17" tires right now, especially since my current tires are still in good shape. Plus for some reason I'm really a chrome guy and the 35th while nice, just aren't shiny enough. Maybe I'll get a good deal on chrome Corvette/Camaro thin-spokes in the future.

Anyone in the western Michigan/Grand Rapids area who's interested in where these are located, send me a PM. I didn't examine all of the wheels, but the one in front of the stack look brand new.

GM parts direct doesn't ship out the correct lug caps either. They are a gray color and look shitty compared to the black caps on my LE.
