on 2000 WS6 rims...285/40/17 or can i go bigger

i have the stock WS6 rims on my car right now i have 275/40/17 on the back and want to go bigger i know i can put on 285/40/17 but can i get something bigger or on them thats about it .. show some pics if you can please thanks

I'm wondering the same thing. How big can you go on stock WS6 rims without pounding your fender.

biggest tire you can go with those is 285.... the next size up would be 315/35/17 which is way too big..
