ok i just picked up a set of 10 spoke ss wheels for my 98z and i was just wondering if i could go to a bigger size than the 275/40r17s. this would only be on the rear wheels. and if so what size is best to use?

not really...285's i guess. rather get them widened for $200 a piece if u want wider in the rear.

275/40ZR17 is the BEST choice. The wheel is only 9" wide . . .

If you absolutely positively MUST have a bigger tire, 285/40ZR17 is your only option.

If you need wider tires you need wider wheels.
