Default Which tire size?

I am in need of some new tires, but don't have a clue on which ones to get. I am going to stick with my stock 16" wheels. What is the biggest tire I can fit without scraping or having to shave my brake calibers? Also, what tire do you suggest I get? Thanks

245/50ZR16 is stock, 255/50ZR16 is as big as you should go with street tires.

And it's "c a l i P e r s"

it all depends on what you want to use the car for, I like my nitto DR's, a buddy of mine has nitto 555 street tires and is happy with them and another guy I know has riken raptors and likes them

Tire size has nothing to do with "shaving your brake calibers"

100% agree with that.
With tires you get what you pay for. No shortcuts with tires. You buy cheap, you get cheap. You will especially notice about halfway through the tread life. I just bought the Goodyear GS-D3 tires for my stock 16" and they are absolutely incredible! Expensive?? Yeah. Worth it? Yeah. They have a $50 rebate going right now too which helps a little anyway.
