Default Nitto tire size

Hey all really quick what size nitto's can I fit on a 9 inch wheel? Im running 275's right now and the fit is really good, but I hear that Nitto's tend to run skinny.

How mnay times do people have to ask this question? Follow the manufacturers recommendations. A 315 DOES NOT belong on a 9 inch wheel! There is even a sticky on this.

Thanks so much for your informative post!
I apologize if it sounded like I was directing that towards you, but a little research goes a long way. Just visit the nitto website, and you will see that the next size 17 inch tire they make would be a 315. You would also see the recommended wheel size for each tire they make. You will also find out exactly how big the dimensions are. So many questions asked on this site, especially in the tire forum, can be answered CORRECTLY by simply doing a bit of research.

I went to the Nitto site and honestly didnt see any of that info! I dont know if maybe I was on their add site or something? There didnt seem to be much in the way of technical info, more just what tires they made.
I appreciate the info man! So they jump from 275 to 315, wow thats quite a jump!

Since you are running a 9" wide wheel, if you want bigger that a 275/40ZR17 or 285/40ZR17 then you need to buy new wheels.

End of discussion.
