Default Zr1 wheels question

Does anybody know if 17x9.5 and 17x11 zr1 wheels will fit on a 2000 trans am ws6? Also does anybody have a pic of a pewter 2000 trans am with black zr1 wheels?

They'll fit just fine. Make sure you get the +50mm offset for the rear. These particular 17X11 rims will fit the rear of a camaro or trans am. The T/A has wider rear fender wells, and it will help you. I'm sure you may have to massage the inner fender wells a little with a mallet. If you have an adjustable PHR it will also be to your benefit. Forgot to mention, if the car is slammed low, the fitment will be more of a challenge to fit, but anything is possible. If you are lowered no more than say, 1.5inches in the rear, you'll be good. If you do bang in the rear inner fender wells, just go to autozone and get some black spray on rubber lining to cover it up. It will look just like new and you won't have those ugly scars on the rubber of your tires. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I sold my Chrome ZR1's to a friend with a NBM WS6 they looked killer on the back of his car so I'm sure the Black would look good as well. He didn't have to modify anything in the wheel well area and he sits fairly low...not more than 1.5" though.

I got them back and he now runs the ARW TTII's (Anthracite).

I know where a set of 17X11 ZR1 wheels are that have been refurnished. There are at this wheel repair store here in Tucson where I'm having my Simmons wheels repaired. I have a set of 17X9's that I may be willing to sell.
