Default Where to get 17x4 skinny setup ??

Ive seen several people running the GTO spare which is what I'd like to get but have no real clue where to even start my search. Anybody know where I should be looking or if there is any other wheels similar to that for relatively cheap ??

any comments are appreciated......wheels are going on 05 vette btw

I know there aren't very many places to get the proper sized tire for the GTO spare. But I believe M&H make one.

Last I checked, the Weld Alumastar 17x4 only comes in a mustang bolt pattern (5x4.5) F-bodys and vettes need a 5x4.75

17x 4.5 With proper bolt pattern. Since October 2007 http://store.summitracing.com/partde...ld-788-1704274 Gto spares are cheaper.

Weld makes 17x4" one piece billet fronts in either Magnum 2.0 or AlumiStar 2 designs in EITHER 5x4.5 for Mustangs and Supras OR 5x4.75 for GM applications.

I just had our local parts warehouse call Weld to inquire about getting me a set of these wheels (17 x 4.5 / 17 x 9.25)...

They (the dude @ Weld) that they no longer produce the Aluma-Star or Magnum in those sizes...

WTF???

If your guy talked to a guy then he wasn't talking to Weld Racing. The only 2 people who answer the phone here are girls. Holly handles the drag wheels and Gail handles the Oval Track wheels. Try again 1-800-788-9353 and we can direct you to someone who can help you. Now the 17x9.25 rears we do NOT make anymore, but the 17x4 fronts are still in production.

Summit has them listed at damn near $600 a piece for the 17x4.5 front runners. Thats crazy expensive.

jjordan, i don't know that it was a guy, just assumed...

Maybe he misunderstood what SHE said!

Do you have a size comparable to the 9.25 in the 17" A-Star 2.0?

17 x 9, 10, 11?
