Tire Size Question...

Tire Size Question... Ok well my trans am still has the stock ABS wheels on it. My tires that are on them now are 245 and somebody gave me some 255 that were in really good shape...will they fit the rim? I've heard that they will, but I am just making sure. Any input is greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Thanks, I was hoping they would but just making sure. Didn't want to look like a total fool when i go to get them put on and them tell me they wont fit. Thanks again
