Default Mocked up the CCW's...

traded my old TT2's for some Z06's, then traded them for these 505A's...what do you guys think? 19's up front, 20's out back. i'm not a fan of the sizes, it was just too good of a deal to pass up at the time. i'd consider trading these for wheels/tires of equal/greater value/appeal, but in the mean time, i won't be too ashamed to roll on these

here it is loaded up and heading off to get the engine bay painted

I don't know if I'd get the engine bay painted with those wheels on, even if they were to get masked off... They look good though.

How the hell did you manage to trade run of the mill every day z06 wheels for those? Did you throw in like 2500 cash with the wheels? Otherwise you got the deal of the ******* century.

you are correct sir. 17/18 polished aluminum Z06's + $800. he payed his shipping, i payed mine. the CCW's have new tires all around, but the rear two rubbed something HARD and need replaced. there are cords showing on one sidewall...but WTF, they're CCW's right? plus i only had about $200 in the Z06's after all the buying/selling/trading i did to wind up with them

if someone wanted to trade some 18" or maybe 19" CCW's, iForged, or Fikse wheels, i might consider it, but i want to see the car done with the 505's on it first....they ARE my wheel of choice, but i don't think i'm going to like the 20's out back. i'm keeping my 4.11's when the 454 goes in and i'd like a LITTLE more sidewall back there, plus those tires are NOT cheap....another good reason to lose the 20's is i don't want to lower the car enough to make them look good....i dunno, we'll see what happens when it's all said and done.

....and yes, my painter is the shiznit, he know's better than to spray on those wheels. he's got some junkers to bolt on at his shop

....on a side note, i've got about 16 hours of sanding, wetsanding, buffing, rubbing, and polishing in just the rear 2 wheels. they had some pretty hardcore rash on them, now...all gone it takes a bigger nut-bag than i've got to put sandpaper on CCW's, but i found the courage

Yeah, your nuts!

I love those wheels, but they are a tad big for my taste.

You a-hole.. Why do you have to put tehhh sexz wheels on there and taunt me like that...

Great looking rims man.. Will have to see the car at ride height (with motor) and a side shot to tell you if they're too big or not...
