Default Anyone "modify" stock GTO wheels to fit a fbody?

My boss at work runs the GTO spares with real tires as skinnies on his GTO. I was wondering if anyone has modified the GTO wheel to fit a fbody? It doesn't look like much grinding at all maybe a few minutes per wheel. Any info on this would be great since I can get these wheels cheap.

I think you have to run a 1" spacer on them to make them look right. They will bolt right up to your car, but will sit in to far.

Well, I tried throwing them on and the center of the hub is just a hair to big for the wheel to sit properly and securely. I'm gonna do it and I'll post pics when I'm done. Thanks.

Get some hub rings to have the wheel make contact with the hub.

Those wheels are not designed to be run over about 60mph.

Your call...

EDIT: Are you talking about the OE GTO wheels or the GTO spares on your car?

I think he is talking about GTO spares. With real tires instead of spare tires it would be safer, but still not SAFE.

Although lots of people do it with no problems.
