Default What tires should I get?

never had performance tires before. I'm currently sitting on half worn mediocre bridge stones that cause me to slip n lose traction on slight curves and off the line at stop lights. I have no traction. I need real tires. But I'm new to the tire world so I need some recommendations and prices. I daily drive my t/a, i dont go to the tracks but i'll handle some ****** on the freeways and stop lights. Pls feel free to suggest some tires for a street racer daily driver in los angeles. I'll never see snow. I still got my stock rims on my t/a. What were the stock tires when these birds came out in 98? And how long did those last for? thanks

Yep, Nitto 555R's would be perfect for you. They held up my 443rwhp M6 pretty good. They are the cheapest and last the longest of any drag radial and are a great step up from stock. You will not be dissapointed! I see more track time now and will be daily driving 315 street tires and throw some Mickey Thompson's on my old stock wheels for the strip!!!

Stock tires were 245/50R16 on a 16" x 8" wheel. Typically a Goodyear RSA.
