Default 20" Drag Radials/Slicks?

305/35/20 NT 555R Drag Radial
Has anyone used this size? Trying to see if they really hook and if they are worth the cash?

Are there any other 20" racing tires similar to that size? Im trying to find a good tire for my 20x11 C6 Z06 Rims.

the prob with that is they are so stiff due to the short side wall an nothing is relay going to hook real well if its a stick with that stiff of a tire

Nitto is the only manufacturer that makes a 20" drag radial. They make a 275/40 and a 305/35

Will they hook better than a street tire? Yes
Will they hook like a 15" drag radial? No

Hm, I haven't heard that and there is nothing on Mickey's website about it. Unless you are talking about Sportsman S/R's which have been out for a while. They make them for 20" wheels but nothing narrower than a 13" rim...

Went into jegs about 2 months ago- looked up a set of tires for my camaro- and they pointed me to this new series that M/T is making (esp. for the new 20inch corvette wheels) they arnt listed on Jegs website- but can be ordered and are in their stock in warehouse... the sportsmans s/rs have been out for a long time- and those are directed for streetrods and are purely a street directional tire.. Just call up Jegs- and they will get ya all sorted out.. 1-800-345-4545

20'' wheels are too heavy and you can't get a decent tire with sidewall. Racing on 20'' wheels defeats the purpose of racing.

You will need at least 4 big stickers and a 10'' fart can for the extra horsepower for racing on 20's.

I have been using the Nitto 20" Drag Radials (305 size) for the summer. Definitely a huge improvement over stock Goodyear RSA's. For me, it was the only option as I am not one to change tires at the track and run ugly looking wheels to cut a few more tenths. I like to run at the track with what I run on the street. Do they hook as good as BFG's or MT's .... NO ... but if you want to run 20" street rims, these are your best bet for traction (better than any street tire available). The wear on them is pretty good too. I have over 8kmiles on them with 2 track days mixed in and they are just now getting close to the wear bars.

My 20x11 C6 Z06's arent as heavy as most 20" wheels. Oh and I have 2 stickers already and dual 3" fart cans.

Thanks for the pics! Unfortunatly, by the looks of it, the tire looks too narrow for my 20x11 wheels.

Yeah definitely, even on my 10" rim, I would have rather had a 325 or 335 since Nitto's seen to run narrow.
