You should cut the bump stops. Thats what most people do, including me. Mine fit without cutting them but with the car in the air they hit on them and I didn't want to risk damaging the back of the rims.

Take a hammer to the inside of the wheel wells. Grind down the bump stop until it will clear, and get used to jacking up the car by the rear-end to change the rear tires If you are still having trouble with the bump stops I believe slp makes spacers for them.

as stated, cut off your bump stop. i did because i wouldn't clear them worth a ****. hammer the inner fenders some too. as for tires. i run 295/35's on 18x10.5inch rims. they fit over the lip of the wheel some so it protects the rim from curbs and shitty roads. i would probably go for 315's for your car. not sure what diameter rim you have though but 315/35 or 315/40

if its a 17 inch rim you want the 315/35/r17's. Thats the easiest and best fit for that size rim.

I've 17 x 11 ZR-1 50mm in the rear with 315s. Cut the bump stops you won't clear with out doing that.

i honestly dont think a 315 is going to fit i really think i have the wrong offet rim because when i put the rim on without a space the rim is touching the bump stop! so i cut the bump stop out i should be ok?

If the rim is really a 62mm then it is wrong...I thought the only options for 17x11 ZR1s were 50mm and 36mm..

Not sure how to exactly tell the offset, but you will probably need the 50mm which most aftermarket ZR1's are. Tomzwheels has them for really cheap and you want to run a 315/35/17 and cut off your bump stops and BFH the inner fender wells and will also want to roll the fenders whenever you can. I have had mine on for a couple thousand miles and I did everything I just mentioned and I am planning on rolling the fenders really soon. You can get by without rolling them but once you add once person in the back seat it will hit and scrape up the sidewall of the tires!! Good Luck!!!!

wouldnt cutting off your bumpstops mess up your handling and ride quality especially on lower vehicles??

yeah dude they will fit fine, i dont remember my offset, but i did use a cutting wheel to trim my bumpstops, and i had to use a little nice touch with the hammer in certain spots, and now they fit great no problems!!

i am lowered, i just bottom out with a full car. but i do need to recenter my rear so that would help some. no handling would be affected though. ride quality sucks in a lowered muscle car anyways so no real difference there either.

ya but when you bottom out in the middle of a turn isnt that gonna cause sudden instability/grip issues?
