Default removing paint from wheels?

so whats the best way to remove paint from wheels?? i just traded for some wheels and dont want black really. I was going to media blast them clean and then try to polish but wanted to know if that would be worth it??

here is what i traded my 18x9.5 and 18x10.5 c5Z06 wheels and 400 cash for.

I don't know of all the places that sell Busch Wheel care products, but I do know Eckler's Corvette Supply used to. Busch makes a clearcoat remover that probably remove the paint w/o hurting the wheel.

I think you should have kept the Z06's. Try the air craft stripper in the aerosol can.

meh didn't want 18's or z06 rims. I was looking for a 17 inch 5 spoke and these are pretty close to what I wanted in the first place. 300 for 4 of these and 2 good nitto tires basically. plus I'm getting 400 in cash too. I didn't think it was a bad deal
