Default Kumho tires? Are they decent?

I just ordered a set of Kumho Ecsta SPT's in a 275-40 R17 for my Z-28 but was curious as to how these tires do as far as handling and tread life. I usually run BFG's with good results but decided to try something different just to see how they compare. Has anyone ran these tires before? What's everyones opinion on them?

I was just asking for some opinions. Like I said I'm trying them out just to see how they compare to the BFG's I had on the car before.

I had Kumhos on my car when I got it. They were decent.
I just put new tires on Friday and ended up narrowing it down between bfgs and michelins. Ended up with the michelin mostly because the bfgs I was going with are on national backorder...

they got a big head and over priced them. They charge to much for what ya get now. They used to be the cheapest out but now they are not! I would get some sumitomo's and save your $ I have ran both and i like all 3 of the different kinds of sumitomo's i have tried more then kumo's!

I have them on mine at the moment and they have been good to me in all types of weather and fairly good in the traction dept.

I've always had good luck with Kumho's. BFG's are great though too, either way you can't go wrong.

Don't care for them, had 2 blow outs in my lexus. I think the car is to heavy for them, it split the side wall on both tires on the inside where you couldn't see it.
