Default Do you have to grind the front calipers for Summit Stars?

I tried searching but couldn't find much except that you didn't have to for the Summit Stars 15x3.5 with 1.75bs. I'm assuming this would be the same for the 15x4" summit stars for the front, but just wanted to check. Thanks

Mike

I am running 15x4 stars with a 1.75 BS and, YES, I had to grind.. Wasn't bad, about 20 minutes per side..

I have heard this can be avoided with a 5/16" spacer & still use stock studs/lugnuts. Haven't tried it myself just read a couple posts about it in the past. I believe that was also with fresh pads to minimize available space.

Hey, I ended up buying them and DID NOT need to grind for the fronts. I did for the rears.

oif1vet, what size rear wheel/tire are you running? Im looking at the 15x8 with 295 MT's.

Also to anyone who would know can you run these lug nuts with the summit stars?

Thinking these would help keeping the studs from bending/breaking

15x8 w/275/50 MT's. I'm using the acorn style lugs, don't know about the ones you have pics of.. I had ARP studs put in to help prevent breaking any studs..

I bought a set of 15x4 summit stars. they fit with 5/16" spacer with no grinding. I had new pads and drilled/slotted rotors. I took spacers off and ground the calipers and didnt take long nor was it difficult. Look nice for the price but, they sure are a pain to polish if you dont keep up on them.
