1. Suspension

The great thing about an awesome lowered suspension setup is that you can enjoy this mod even when the car is at a standstill parked. If you have money to burn, then we'd recommend the aFe Control Pfadt Coilovers that retail for almost four grand, but are well worth the price. However, if you are trying to spread the money out more on various parts of the car, then you can't beat picking up a Pedder Track 1 kit for about two grand. Included in that package you'll get springs, various bushings, sways and end links.

2. Cold Air Intake

The engine is a giant air pump, so what could it want to help it go faster? Even more air! More air in, more air out and a higher output of power will be the resulting effect. Take a peek at the engine and exhaust flow and see what legal restrictions you have to deal with in your area to determine how far you can modify things. K&N is the cheapest CAI package we've seen on the market but check out a good range of them to see what is best for what you have in mind. Here is a write-up we did on various air intakes and a handy how-to guide for the installation of one.

3. Exhaust

There are so many variables that go into buying the right exhaust for you and your lifestyle. Things to consider include, how do you feel about drone? How would you rate the aggressiveness of tone? Do you want a higher pitch or a lower growl? Research various exhausts on YouTube to get a sense of what parts you need to add or delete to the various units to gain the desired sound. A non-stock unit exhaust is essential in throwing off the factory shackles and freeing up the potential of your car. Click here for a review we did of some exhaust units and a quick how-to on the installation of one.

4. Throttle Body

For engine performance, you won't get any better of a bang for your buck than the VMAX CNC Ported throttle body. It's cheap, super easy to install, and adds not just horsepower but also a good butt measuring amount of torque to your Camaro's throttle response. The only complaint we've heard from owners of it installed on 'Vettes and Camaros alike is that when the throttle is given full muster, the car's rear may break loose a bit.

5. Ground Effects

If you'd like to add some subtle flair to your Camaro to give it a more aggressive look, then you can't go wrong with the Ground Effects body add-ons. These pieces will add a more focused and sport influenced air to your Camaro to let people know that you mean business. However, adding these to a car that is lowered will need you to be more observant of driveways, speed bumps and areas with slopes that may damage your new parts.
