“What’s with all that noise, honey?” “Sorry, the Red Dragon isn’t exactly street legal.” In case you didn’t guess it already, that’s a direct quote from Will Ferrell in one of the funniest movies every produced, ‘Old School.’

This head-turning 1987 red Chevy Camaro IROC Z28 is not the Trans Am that “Frank the Tank” is tinkering with in the movie, and but it looks almost as good as that one on the big screen. After all, the owner of this beauty says this car has never been driven in the rain.

What a better way to re-live the best years of your life, than by heading out to gorgeous rural Wisconsin, buying and driving this red dragon back home while listening to some good ‘ole eighties rock? The Camaro, specially around the late eighties wasn’t a huge performer, specially when compared to the Mustang, but it sure did look damn good.

The IROC Z28’s features a 5.7 liter engine under the hood, and pumps out a somewhat disappointing 215 horsepower, which only felt somewhat exciting when traveling on a straight line. Then again, many owners decided to take weight reduction seriously and managed to turn this thing into somewhat of a road-course performer.

This particular IROC Z28 example for sale on Hemmings.com features a swanky red leather interior, a G80 rear Axle, Delco-Bose stereo system (for the aforementioned eighties rock), and the iconic Camaro T-Tops.

All you need is a leather jacket and some Ray Bans!
