Check it Out: Three Cool LS Cars from RacingJunk.com

In the latest edition of  ‘Check it Out,’  from the pros over at RacingJunk, a carb, a car and a sweet aluminum engine.

Last time on “Check it Out,” our column from RacingJunk — the No. 1 online race and performance marketplace where it’s free to buy, sell, browse, and trade — we shared three crazy LS-powered vehicles that offered a glimpse into the depth and breadth of where these engines can go.

This time, they’re sharing a crazy Canadian build ready to haul down the track that’s bursting with personality (and a Musi engine) plus an LS turbo and an aluminum LS engine for those ready to swap.

1992 Cavalier LS

1. 1992 Cavalier LS – $72,500

What we like about it: Be the only guy at your track with a ‘92 Cavalier sporting a fiberglass body, 9 inch Ford rear, and 712 cubic inch 1400 horse LS.

LS turbo kit

2. LS Turbo Kit – $1,575

What we like about it: For someone that wants to take their carbureted LS to the next level this blow-through turbo kit is a must have.

5.3 LS Aluminum

3. 5.3 LS Aluminum – $6,800

What we like about it: A GM L33 Aluminum 5.3 LS V8 engine built by Philadelphia Racing Engines for street, race, all around high performance use and is 80 pounds lighter than a cast iron block LS engine!
