Early in the production run of the LS equipped fourth generation F-Bodies there was a stealthy Pontiac WS6 that’s not to be confused with the Trans-AM version. This sleeper was the Firebird Formula WS6 and it packed the V6 style front bumper and flat wing, but with the aggressive WS6 hood, wheels and other goodies. Although many would argue against my sentiments, I feel the Firebird Formula WS6 is one of the best looking F-bodies to date. Sure the small wing and bumper aren’t as aggressive as the Trans-Am units, but that’s what makes it so cool.
Don’t get me wrong, I’d kill for a clean Trans-Am WS6 or a Camaro SS, but there’s something unique about the Firebird versions. How about you, are you a fan of the Firebird Formula WS6?
