Then why not check out our all-new LS1Tech Marketplace! We have everything from parts and accessories to complete your build, to vehicles looking for a good home, all from our forum members and vendors.

For example, if your project is an LSX in need of a set of piston heads, then why not check out this all-new forged set from forum member and seller Z28SteveA4, who ordered them for his project, but never even installed them.

“I have a brand new set of 8 LS JE flat-top forged pistons, parts number 311976,” the seller says. “They are for a 4-inch stroke and for a 4″ bore. Combine comes out to a 402.”

The LSX piston heads come with valve reliefs, pins and locks, but no rings. The compression ratio is 11.6:1, which means tons of power for any LS lucky enough to house them.

And if you’re wondering how the heads will work with your LSX, the seller says the set has the documentation explaining the proper clearance needed for proper installation, tips on how to install the set, and more. Such paperwork is always helpful, whether you’re starting your build, or need to replace the heads later on.

The New Jersey-based seller is asking $600 for the LSX cylinder head set, which sounds like a pretty good deal to us. And speaking of deals, there’s plenty to be found at our new marketplace. If you need something else, we’re likely to have it. And if not, come back tomorrow to see what’s new!
