LMR Corvette Outruns T1 GT-R for Texas Invitational Win
Let me just get this out of the way: The Texas Invitational is awesome. There are loads of incredible cars, close races, and high speeds. It’s a really great place to get a sense of how fast some of these tuned “street” cars actually are. The competition is incredible, which makes Late Model Racecraft’s victory all the more impressive.

It wasn’t exactly an easy one. The T1 GT-Rs are fast by anyone’s standards. They had four of them at the event making 1400hp. Even cars with more power had trouble keeping up.

As wild as they are, LMR’s Vette is… Something else. Not only were they faster than twin-turbo Vipers, boosted Ford GTs, several Gallardos and T1’s GT-Rs, but they also managed to trap the fastest top speed of the event at 209 mph. In a rolling half-mile. It should suffice to say that their 2000hp Vette is nothing mess with.

Congrats to LMR for their win. They’ve earned it. Here are some videos of the racing below.
