SEMA was full of shiny, new Camaros with wide body kits and laughably large rims, but there was another theme this year: classics. It’s like the everyone had the same idea to take a classic Camaro and turn it into the car they think it should be. I totally understand the appeal; the new Camaros are big and heavy with poor visibility while the classic ones are not. Also, they look better. Just saying.

The blue one is the first one I saw coming into SEMA. It has a lot going on aside from those slick carbon fiber intake manifold. The motor is an LS3 with a stroker kit and cnc ported heads. All the internals are forged too. All told it makes 640 hroses naturaly aspirated and probably sounds an avalanche thanks to a custom ground cam.

This car I just thought was gorgeous. It’s another ’69 camaro, but with an excellent paint job. The wheels are wful, but that’s a small foilble when you know what’s under the hood. It’s not an LS, but a 502 Ram Jet crate motor. It makes 502 horsepower and probably as much torque at about 2 rpm. OSE took care of the suspension and while Koni took care of the shocks. I dig it.
