Finally 10's... Finally got the car out to the track on the hose. I'm spraying a 150 shot. It was my first time to spray it at the track, it has more in it if I can get it to hook. The car is on a 275/60 radial, it was tricky to get it to hook up. I need to upgrade to some slicks. Its cool to say I drove it out there on 275 radials and ran a mid 10 and then drove it home. So I'm happy. Anyways here's a slip. Mods: Forged 346 Fast 90 F14HL Th350 150 shot TFS 215's 275/60 MT Radial Moser 9 All the supporting mods http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s...8/SCAN0002.jpg |
I've got some videos once they find their way on the computer. |

Congrats on the times man!!!! Cant wait until i get my car out on a 150 hit.......... |
Thanks bud. Yea I need to put slicks on it and add another 100 stage on this thing. To bad the track is closed. |
Yea i havent had a chance to get a clean run on the 150 hit yet or the tires to hook up for me either so i need to throw some slicks on the car so i can really see what she can do.....:D |
Nice job on the jug man!! What does your car run N/A? Just wondering what my car would do if I added a 150shot seeing as our setup is really close.. |
Nice job man. I cut out before you made those 2 passes. |
Congrats Jordan! Very nice times, but the mph is awesome. Do you have a cage? What converter are you running? |

I've got a Midwest 4000 nitrous converter in the car and its a bit tight on the motor. Even on the transbrake it wouldnt go better than a 1.60. It picked up a solid 11 MPH and a second on the ET. I think its got .1 or .2 left though. Thanks sam! No cage yet. I'm going to put one in this winter, collect more parts for the 383, and get a dedicated fuel system so I can run a 250 shot for next year.

what tire pressure you running .... there guys in the 1.3's on that tire |
i started @ 18 on the first run. I went to 12 on the last two runs. The one thing that would help me that I can't do is move the front of my torque arm to the top hole. My driveshaft is 3 1/2 in and it will hit the drive shaft up on top. My pinion angle is at -2. On the fist run I had the shocks on 1 and 6. 18 PSI in the tires. I had the window switch on at 2500 rpm. Spun while lifting the fronts up. I let out that run as well. The second run I went to 0 and 4. 12 PSI in the tires. I set the window switch at 4000. It rolled out before the spray hit. Cut a 1.56 but I think it would go 1.4's if it hooked and I could turn the spray on at 2500 (flashes the converter). It still spun but not as bad. The third run I turned the spray on at 3200 and it blew them off the minute I hit the gas. I thought about setting the fronts up at 1 and trying it out but I left the suspension alone and tried to wind the window switch down a little to see where my limit was at there before I started adjusting the suspension again. The track was closed after that run. It was cooling down as well. I need to raise the front of the car up a half inch or so as well. I just didn't get around to doing it before goinng out to the track. I was pretty busy last week and wasn't even sure I'd be able to make it Friday night. I'm open to suggestions but the track is closed here for the year. :( I'm not sure how well the track was prepped. Usually they keep the street tire cars out of the groove but they were letting them run in them. It was pretty packed so I didn't get to make alot of passes. |
