10's @ 6000+DA Just curios how many people have run 10's at a 6000 or better DA and if so what was your setup? |
There are some people out around El Paso running mid 10s. Forget the company name but they have a race car/street car for advertisement. Pretty sure they do Mustangs and LS1's. 120 mph @ 6,000 Da is good for low 11s. What is your 60ft? |
Holy da I thought 2000 was bad here in the summer |
We get 7000+ here in the summer. |
How do you folks breathe? LOL |

Dude there it is..Look at that 60ft? Get that beast to hook and it would run low 11s NO prob. |
get the 60ft down to 1.5 and you might make a 10.9x |
Well I'm in the process of forging my bottom end, restalling to 4000 and changing to a plate kit and 250 shot. |
Sure,we typically run at about 6900-7900DA and have seen over 8 on late summer races/daytime.Kinda sucks comparing to the -300 or better DA that some of the east coast guys post up,but the next closest track is nearly 400miles and only about 3000DA. Oh well, here is the setup,402 twin turbo LS2 stroker,TFS245 heads,Tex twin and modified MN12 trans/C6Z conversion,IRS rear,Dragpak,Full weight, full interior incl AC,currently licensed Street legal 02 Corvette. Here is the slip. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...r/DSC00444.jpg |
