10's NA

Finally took my Tick Performance built full weight camaro to the track. Car went 10.78@125 in the 1/4 and 6.87@99 in the 1/8. Car probably weights 3750-3850 with me in it. Guess its time to start pulling weight out of it and start on suspension and rearend.

Good runs. Details on the build?

SRB02SS Apr 8, 2016 03:47 PM

All details are in my signature.

Ten four, I sill have to get on a computer to see it

Tick Performance built 408 with cnc LS3 heads with 11.5-11.7 compression, BTR valvesprings, custom grind Cam Motion cam by Martin Smallwood of Smallwood Race Developments. Ported ls3 intake from BER. Kooks 1 7/8 race headers to TSP true duals. Yank SS4000 stall converter. Rebuilt 4l60e and factory 3.23 rearend for now.

What was 60' and DA?
The car should respond well to some weight out.

SRB02SS Apr 8, 2016 06:28 PM

1.50 60' and I'm not sure what the da was... It was in the 50's as far as temperature but there was a good bit of moisture in the air and elevation is probably 75-100 feet above sea level.

senicalj4579 Apr 8, 2016 06:38 PM

Damn good 60' especially for that weight. Any plans for weight reduction? Did you notice any added weight from the iron block?

SRB02SS Apr 8, 2016 07:03 PM

I can't feel a difference with the iron block. Feels the same to me. Wish i had 3.73 gears and a 12 bolt rear.

Martin Smallwood Apr 10, 2016 05:57 PM

Great job Scott!

If you can get the weight around 3500lbs with you in it, she should be a consistent low to mid 10 second ride!

SRB02SS Apr 10, 2016 06:12 PM

Thanks Martin. Couldn't have done it without you. Yeah I got a friend already planning on helping me pull some weight out of it in the future.
