Default 10.93 na ls1

I have been chasing a 10.9 motor pass in my car for quite some time. I had some great air at the track last night and the track was working well. First pass the car hooked and was doing great until I let out at the 1/8 out of habit. That pass was a 7.04 at 98.70. Frustrated, I got back in line and made sure to stay in it the full 1/4 lol.

Nice work. What kind of power do you make, and what's the raceweight?

Nice, I'm in the process of chasing 10's myself.

What converter are you running?

Thanks man, it made 459 through the 6speed and I can't remember the torque at the moment. Race weight should be 3450 give or take a bit.

It's a 9.5in FTI, stalls at 4300. I told Greg I wanted something that would work well on both motor and nitrous. I think he nailed it.

Thank you. It has 243's that we're cleaned up by a little local shop, nothing special. The cam is btr' stage 4 (235/242 .621/.592)

Very nice setup. Efficient too with that 60' time. I have a FTI billet 9.5 as well and love it.

Thanks bud, I am very happy with it. I'm going to try and get it a little bit lighter over the winter. Regarding the converter... I had never driven a stalled auto before this one. After reading a bunch of negative comments on here about a 4000 stall converter being unbearable on the street I was a little anxious. During the first drive, I almost thought I was shipped the wrong converter lol. Drives great

Lol. A premium stall is worth every penny. I've used cheap stalls before and they're exactly what you're hearing. What are your shift points?

Good job! we are at pretty equal Race weight , I just cleared 10’s myself n/a, but the air up here has been stingy at best..

Thank you! I have been thinking about switching from my ported ls6 heads. How do you like the prc's? And before and after dyno number

Great job. I think you have a 10.7 in the car the way it sits.

I have not dynoed the car since I swapped from home ported 243’s, to my PRC 225’s, my cam is very close to your cam specs, that being said , I wanted more compression but didn’t want to flycut so the result was aftermarket castings which I was able to get a 61cc mill and .040 gasket. Then the added benefit of port volume and larger valves.. it was a win.. we had crap for DA up here and been trying speed density butvyhe weather is so inconsistent IMO to run speed density.. going back to a MAF I think

I have the FTI 4000 Hard Hit and it was awesome on motor (1.46 60') but when I put the 150 to it, she goes straight to 6,000 (1.39 best) but doesn't want to hook every time and shakes the tires. I talked to Justin @ FTI and he thinks he can get one to fit my needs (maybe what your talking about).
Time to put that girl on a major diet (or do you still street drive it?)

They have are really good at what they do for sure. Mine has been pretty consistent on a prepped track. I am going to do some no prep stuff this Saturday and I'm hoping for the best. I still drive on the street some but just as a toy. I'm putting a 8 point chromoly in it over the winter
