With a Lingenfelter 427cid and a Vortech T-Trim Supercharger I set out to conquer Super Chevy in Pomona Ca. One week before in Carlsbad Ca. I tested the car with no brakes, (I didn't know that part of me existed, "Hey little dude come back") The plastic in the vacuum lines had melted and the supercharger belt was breaking due to the angle of the tensioner. I fixed the vacuum lines with a brass fitting and changed the angle of the tensioner by drilling one more hole. Now one week later on my first run at Super Chevy I made it to the beloved tens by hitting a 10.99, and then 10.675@127.78mph.
Oh well, I am still a happy camper, but who knows maybe one day the nines. Godspeed GERS
