Went to Virginia Motorsports Park last night for some shake down runs on the new stock bottom end 346 ci H/C combo and was very pleased to say the least. The car performed very well for the first time out in not so good air. We made four passes total with the best coming on the fourth run.

VERY NICE! and welcome
Actually, could you list all your light weight stuff or I guess how you got the car to 3100#, because I don't think its quit as...uh tincanish, as Magnus. I know about the fuel cell and battery relocated in the rear hatch, and I love that hatch cover you fabbed up BTW but what other things?
TIA

Lynda, I'll try and list everything I have done but most are the normal bolt-on weight reduction items. The car has no creature comforts other than power windows, tilt wheel and interior lights. All head lights and turn signals installed and working. The stock Firehawk hood is still on the car along with original glass. All bumper supports are removed. All interior panels, and A-4 console with Hurst Quaterstick installed along with Speed Inc. lightweight carpet. Roof liner is still in along with a Wolf 6-pt chrome-moly roll bar.
BMR steel K-member and A-arms
Madman manual steering rack
Spohn Torque Arm
Wolf CM sub-frame connectors
BMR control arms and panard bar
Hals all the way around
Strange Drag brakes all around
Manual master cylinder
Exhaust delete
ABS delete
Wiper delete
AC/heat delete
Cruise control delete
Airbags removed
Grant steering wheel
Summit racing seat
Autometer tach and gauges
Bogart P-2 series drag wheels
Moser 12 bolt spool
ATI TH-400
Custom driveshaft
Thats basically it. The car is no longer driven on the street and is a track only car now. Looking at it still has a stock apperance other than the roll bar and wheels and tires.

Awesome! Thanks for the details on the suspension, etc. What are the specs on the heads, cam, compression, intake, headers, gear, converter, etc.?
I want to work over the heads, go up in cam some, maybe change to a 3-speed trans, etc. Take care. Dave

The cam specs are also off limits. I can't give those out. Sorry.
Intake is a Fast 90mm
TB is a Fast 90mm
Headers are Kooks stainless
Gear is a 4.10
Converter is a ATI custom order
I'm sorry I can't be more specific right now. I hope you understand.

SDC,
Yes that was naturally aspirated with 93 octane Exxon pump gas with no additives.
Silver,
Race weight was 3100lbs and DA was around 900 above. I plan on being at Thunder but will have to run with the solid roller gang in Modified Stock at 3200lb race weight. I'll be out gunned in that class with my stock bottom hyd roller but it will be fun seeing if can hang with them.

No offence but I ran 10.71 with my stock bottom end with a 1.41 with a 4L60E at 3400lbs, No magic here.
Take your 10.378 and add .3 for 300 lbs = 10.678
Great pass but no miracle. Point is that many of us are very close to eachother.
Hope to see you join the series.
