Want 10's need track advice
Here is the deal guy's I am getting my car put back together this week and I am going to get out a run it this weekend. I want to get this thing in the 10's and I need your advice on how I should launch and want to know if you think I can get there. Two week's ago I was out at our street drag's (no time's) and I was launching at 6,000 N/A (403 rwhp and 361 rwtq) and sheared every tooth off the ring gear (richmond 4.33's) in my Moser 12 Bolt. I am in the process of replacing my eaton posi with a spool and 4.10 gear's. I will also be putting 15X3.5 draglite's up front and 15X8 draglite's in back with 26X10.5 ET Street's. I also just ordered a pair of QA1 R-Series and 15/275 spring's for the front. Other than that everything listed in my sig is what I have done to the car. It put down 403rwhp and 361rwtq N/A with a crap load of timing pulled for the nitrous. I sent the computer back in and had it retuned and put some more timing back in. I am going to be spraying a 150 Shot to it aswell. With the previous TR 224 cam I was making 549rwhp and 678rwtq on the bottle. I am going to get it on the dyno this week and get the nitrous jetted so I am making somewhere between 580-600rwhp. With that power and my other mod's. How should I launch? and can I get it to go 10's? Thanks for the help and sorry for the long post. |
