10's coming? I've ran a best time of 11.30@120mph with a 1.5460ft. My best 60ft so far has been 1.52 and my best mph so far has been a 121mph. The pass I had the 1.52 60ft is the same pass I went 121mph but the car bounced off the rev limiter a few times on the 2-3 gear shifts. I went 11.33 on that pass but think that if it wouldn't have bounced off the limiter I would have had an 11.1X pass. You also must know that I drove the car to the track about and 1 1/2 hours away and it sat for no longer than 30 minutes. I feel that if I trailor the car to the track so it doesn't get heat soaked and I get some really good air, I could make the 10.9X pass. What do you guys think? The car weighs 3600lbs with me in it. My mods are 2002 Z28 Camaro A4 with Trickflow 215cc heads milled to 62cc, Harland sharp shaft roller rockers 1.7 ratio, 232/236-646/612-114LSA cam, FMS chrome-moly hardened 5/16" push rods 7.500", ARP hex head bolts, FMS ported oil pump, LS6-2 timing chain, 30lb SVO injectors, SLP 85mm MAF, SLP Lid, K&N drop in, Hooker longtubes, custom true duals with Magna pack mufflers, PTC 4400 Stall converter, built 4L60E, Strange 12bolt with 4.10 gears, Billet Specialties light weight rims 15X10 in the rear and 15X3.5 in the front, 28" tall Hoosiers in the rear, ported fast 90mm, NW TB, Custom Racetronix / Walbro 255 pump and dyno tuned by Allan Futral. |
Your pretty close. You defently have the set up to get there. Keep trying good luck. |
why don't you try the 85mm lid and post results!! you can make a pass with the slp and then swap it out to see real gains. some people have reported .1-.2 and 2-3 mph. If true then you may see more consistent 10's or 11.00's Oh and go on a diet |
