Default LQ4 408 with LS3 top end

hey guys well over the past month or so ive taken the hand ported 853 heads off my car in exchange for some 821 LS3 heads and LS3 intake with a fast big mouth 92mm TB. im using stock .051 6.2l gaskets the bottom end is a mahle 4.030 -12cc piston, compstar 6.125 h-beam, and a eagle 4.000 crank. the bumpstick thats in it is a TSP 235/240 .603/.609 112 lsa backed by a hughes 3500 converter and forward pattern th400, and 12 bolt with 4.11s. now with the old heads and a 6 speed the car would run 12.0-12.2 at 117 pretty consistantly. i have yet to get this car into the 11's and i am hoping that this top end will get me there. now it seems to pull ALOT harder in the top but its hard to tell when your on the street with street tires i didnt mill the heads so i figured my compression is around 9.7 or so(which is ok cause there will be a D1 going on next winter) but just thought i would post up in here to get peoples insight on what this thing might run, our track doesnt open up here in spokane wa until the 21st so i thought maybe i would get some ideas from you guys on here. car is a dd so it has all interior and stereo with no weight mods with me in the car and a full tank of gas the car chimes in at 3880 and the tires are mt et streets 26x11.5x16 any ideas would be nice as this is mainly just for fun until the 21st lol sorry its long guys but im excited to see what this thing runs and to see what you guys think

My race weight is only 200 lbs lighter and a smaller engine, my times are in my sig. Its up to the driver now, you have the power, now you need good 60's and you need to get the power to the ground.

ya mine is pretty quick too, it tachs 7000rpm at 121-122mph so if its gonna go low 11's high 10's i think a gear change is definatly in my future

hey guys went to the track today and got some seat time for the first time this year(FINALLY)

1st pass --- 2nd pass ---- 3rd pass ---- 4th pass
R/T-.350 ---- .209 ---- .215 ---- .203
60'-1.701 ---- 1.608 ---- 1.638 ---- 1.654
330-4.982 ---- 4.813 ---- 4.866 ---- 4.858
1/8-7.700 ---- 7.496 ---- 7.563 ---- 7.540
MPH-90.27 ---- 91.55 ---- 91.30 ---- 91.59
1000-10.046 ---- 9.818 ---- 9.889 ---- 9.864
1/4-12.029 ---- 11.783 ---- 11.85 ---- 11.833
MPH-113.81 ---- 114.82 ---- 114.89 ---- 114.40

the MPH seems a little off to me but these runs were done with full interior, half tank o gas, 15" prostars on the rear with 275/60/15 et street radials and the fronts are heavy *** TTII's 17x9.5.
tire pressure was at 17 and the track temp was about 85*+ with humidity at 35% all in all im very happy with this set-up and it runs hard up top(even though mph doesnt show it) but its a definate improvement over the hand ported 853 and stock ls6 intake and tb. were gonna put the wideband back in it next weekend and make some final tuning adjustments and maybe run my 26" tall et streets and see where that takes us
Jason
