First time in the 11s, video added
2002 A4 Camaro SS, 408, NA, street tires (waiting on new wheel tire set up), full wt 4k with driver/full tank of gas/computer bag and some other stuff. No place to leave wt reduction because the wife road with me instead of bringing my suburban. Looking at the log, I was not WOT until 2 seconds into run (actually only about 40-50%), shifted at 5300 to 2nd gear. I really need some traction...
1.82 60'
7.6 1/8
11.74 @ 120.xx 1/4
Spanked a 45x rwhp Kenne Bell 2.2 Bullet Mustang in the process. Will post video as soon as I can...and here it is. The mustang ran 12.59 @ 114.

Congrats on your first 11 second pass! Now on to the specifics, heh.
What gears were you running? What converter?
The car will pick up BIG time on a set of drag wheels/radials and a properly geared/stalled setup.

What does your car weigh to get 11.88 @ 113? That is quick for that MPH!

I have a yank 3600 stall, but I am only running 3.42 gears. I just finished driving the car 700+ miles moving from FL. I really need some 3.73 gears I think. I need to find a place that will do that for me here in Southern IL/St Louis area.
I think so too. With borrowed ET streets and 16s on the car it went 1.66 before and 7.41 in the 1/8 spinning some in first , but able to go WOT from the green without blowing the tires off.

My car was #3520 stock with a full tank, then add my 210#...then I added some UMI stuff (TA, DS safety loop), iron block, Moser rear, deep tranny pan (extra fluid), and no weight reduction. I may take off my front sway bar when I go back with my new rims.

I am hoping for low 11s when I get my new rim set up. I have some BS street lites coming. The first 4 are going to be 17x8 and 17x11, then I also have some 15x10s coming for the rear (track rims)...I am broke now though. Wish my wife had driven the burb last night. I could have taken out the spare tire...I may take out the back seats at some point just to see how quick I can make it and then put every thing back of course as it is still a street car.

I thought about taking everything out of my car but it only has 33,889 miles on it and dont want to ruin it but i think i get a little more out of it w/ a better tire and maybe a 11.70 or high 11.60 on a perfect night.

I feel ya there...I have 38k miles on mine...that is why everything would have to go back in the car after the track. It would be like the money run.

Hey come out Tuesday. I will be there with my blue 01 Formula. My dad has done rearends for a living for 25 years, he did most of the cars at Gateway. He just did my Moser 12 bolt and its pretty freakin quiet. Every 10 bolt he does it dead quiet too.

ExceSSive,
Im sure that IAT was real time right ? 130+degrees is going to pull a **** load of burst timing and is going to kill your low end, it was dropping rapidly towards the end of the track. You might wanna get that relocated further away from the engine so it doesn't heat soak so bad.
*EDIT* - I am really surpised nobody has mentioned this up untill now.

Thanks for the input. I will look into that as well as a couple other things people have mentioned to me. I noticed that...I just never thought about moving it.

Congrats on the first 11 second pass , Excessive !! After some more tweaking here and there ,you ride will run even faster. Easy low 11's or maybe high 10's . A good set of wheels/tires and some tuning will put you damn close.

I just convinced the wife...roll cage and a get it down to stock wt including cage. Interested to see what I can do with some 15x10 w/ ET Streets or something of the like. Next season...nitrous after the NA is maxed out.
