Default first time new setup, 11.81@117

well finally went out to the track with the new motor. Didnt set the world on fire but im happy for now. It was hot and humid and the track wasnt hooking well at all.

Need to adjust the 1-2 shift as it hit the rev limiter and def lost momentum

humidity 87%

Havent gotten a chance to dyno tune the car yet, just conservative street tune on it at the moment.

Specs are 98 Z28, pwr everything, leather t-top car. Ran at full weight, nothing at all taken out. Nitto 555r drag radials.

347 ci
Je pistons 10.8:1 cr
Eagle h beam rods
EPS .600 230/234 112LSA
Dart 225 heads- ported
fast 92/92
LT's
cutout was closed
Vig 3200 stall
3:73 gears
Rev limiter at 6400 at the moment

I think it def has some 11.5's or better in it once i get it lined out and hooking better.

It really needs a bigger stall converter and yes the rev limiter at least @ 6800.

I was going to get it re stalled to about 4K but i wound up doing alot more to the motor than planned and wound up running out of money. Like i said im happy for now as its a daily driver currently. I know i have room for improvement to get it in the low 11's on motor before i spray it next year and shoot for low 10s.

suspension is all stock except for Tokico illumina shocks on the rear and an energy suspension torque arm bushing.

Dial in your shiftpoints and low 11s will be yours on motor easy

Yeah im just taking it easy right now. Taking care of the 1-2 shift point soon. I plan to do some suspension mods over the winter and get that 60ft down. The motor is still pulling at 6400, prob wants to pull to 7k or more according to the builder and looking at the flow charts on the heads. Im on the BONE STOCK 4l60e that came in the car (146K miles and has had h/c/i and stall since 100K) that has some how made it this far so i dont want to really push it until i have a new trans ready to go in.
