First real track outting with the new wheels and hoosiers. I set the tires to 15psi cold and went up for my first pass, left at 5 grand, car lugged down hard. 60' was good but lost a lot of momentum. 12.047 @ 114.17. The air wasnt good 1650' @ 8pm down to 1500' @ 10pm. i made changes to my front shock settings and launch rpm, which had negative impact on traction. i put my shocks back to the previous setting and a little less rpm, 5700, the car responded well and knocked off an 11.986 @ 114.54! Very impressive considering the last time it went 11.9 was with a -800 DA. Im pretty confident ill hit my goal of 11.6 later this season in better air the way the car sits, Then take weight out and go for 11.50s. Heres my slips

Congrats on the pass. Get her tuned, drop some weight out of it and get a little more seat time. Your goal is easily attainable.

Thanks, it went 11.9 twice that night. Driving it is not an issue, ive been racing the car for 3 seasons. There is more left in it, the rear suspension is stock and tune is off. So its kind of the tip of the ice berge but I am pleased to have a 3620lb car in race trim with AC, leather, power everything, t tops, that gets 25+mpg on the highway & goes 11s in less than desirable conditions with production engine parts.

Hey good job man. I remember your car a few years ago running 12.5 I think? Good luck getting that time lower maybe I will be up there to see it. I am thinking if I want to try to top my PB and get a 10 slip. The DA with the 11.1 pass was in -130. I'm sure a -1000 DA will be pretty close. Only issue is I have to do it in 1-2 passes cause I'll get the boot for no roll bar LOL!

Thanks guys! 10s would be pretty sweet with your setup! -1500 nights are very common in sept and october, ill be there to get a signature worthy pass. Get a nice chromoly roll bar in that thing! I need to setup my two step, get a shift light and an aftermarket shifter.

good times man. i think with a retune you'll pick up atleast .1 and 2mph. just correcting for da I get a trap of 116 which is pretty good of course not always accurate but that setup def has more in it

Thanks! I have efi live but my wideband is not in the car so im commanding alot of fuel right now. I dont think its ever going to MPH crazy due to the 22# driveshaft, bias plys and 4.30s. I need to pull the trans out and check out third gear, for the last few weeks it blocks me out if i powershift 3rd. i know thats hurting me to
