Thumbs up New PB 11.88 @116, is there more??? Opinions

Finally got my goal of 11s with the car. 02 ws6 6speed, MWC 9" with full rear suspension w/ viking coilovers, fast 92/92, pacesetters w/ tsp duals, Chris 1313, 104 lid, sd tune, bigs-n-littles. No front suspension at all yet, still stock. How much more could be left in it? Lookin for insight to see if maybe there is anything left in it.

That's a hell of a trap speed for bolt ons only. What does the car weigh?

theres always something left lol a full list of mods would help as well as 60 foot time on that pass.

As HCI says above that trap is up there if its just bolt ons but m6 cars trap higher than a4 with same mods , that trap also verifies there should be more et potential so yes there is more left

The 60' on that pass was a 1.60. I haven't weighed the car but I need to. I have some decent weight reduction. I listed what I have done in first post. Also have Chris 1313 I forgot to add.

What does a 116 trap normally et around?

nice time for a bolt on car. youre in the ballpark et wise at that mph with a 6 speed car. the 6 speeds dont 1/8th mile that great but they make up for it on the back end of the track, you should be picking up 23-26mph on the big end. you might be able to squeeze 11.60s out of it.

This was on 325/50/15 hoosier drag radials. How much would a bias ply actually better the 60' and 330 over the dr?

the 9" allows fearless launches but it doesn't necessarily need to be light to go top 11's , plenty of stock internals cars have gone top 11's full weight with less than full bolt ons. My 6 speed car did it without dr's , far from full bolt ons and well over 200,000 miles on the entire drivetrain to boot (11.95@111.xx), theres 10 second stock internals cars out there - those are few and far between , very light , killer suspensions , extreme wheel tire combos , fast intakes , manual racks , electric water pumps etc....true full bolt on cars

On that pass I left at 4500. Maybe I can go to the scales Monday and see what it weighs

many other cars have done similar gotta pay attention to details and wait for the proper racing weather to be in place , usually well negative da but there are some that have done it in positive da also so its not news and far from unbelievable.

not everybody has the money to go heads/cam so instead bolt ons , a little preparation and attention to details goes a long way

on the car in this thread yes but plenty of 10 bolt full weight cars have also gone 11's on bolt ons , I would own 2 of them if it weren't for a bad fuel pump keeping my auto car to 12.1 @112 , my 6 speed car has been 11.95 @111 the auto car is the quicker car of the 2 just need to get it back to the track if my work schedule ever loosens up.

hoosiers bite hard at the track... you shouldn't need the 325 at your power level.

116 is a non issue. I helped a buddy get his car to 11.9 @ 116 with mild bolt-ons. Not even headers on that car.
