11.83@125 with a 1.69 60'. DA was 1547. Car is my 2000 SS with a built 408 and huron t4 kit w/ borg s480. M6 car with a worn out trans and old centerforce DFX (winter plans to upgrade). Plenty of suspension to be adjusted and worked out and shock settings to play with. Also adding a WOT box this weekend with 2 step.

Car has a lot left in it but since this was my 2nd full pass since the build I will take it. Also weight is unknown but I am sure it is 3500+

Just went yesterday my first time. After some trial and error i managed an 11.9 with a 1.68 60 foot and easy slow shifting. I just had the trans built (t56)and its got maybe 30 miles on it. launching at 5000rpms, hoosier qtps.

Car weighs about 3240 without me in it, and thats with a full nitrous bottle. Six speed, 9 inch 4.10s. cam, stock untouched 241 heads, and fast 102 intake. viking DAs in the front, with comp 3 ways in the rear. definitely need some seat time, but I'd say 11.6-11.5 is doable.

I finally hit 11s a few weeks ago. Took me a while to get there but my most recent pass was 11.80 @ 115 with a 1.60 60'.

'99 Trans Am WS6
Iron block 6.0 lq4
799 heads with BTR .660 springs titanium retainers, LS2 head gaskets
LS7 Lifters, BTR pushrods, BTR rocker trunion bearings
Vengeance Racing VRX5 camshaft
Stock LS6 intake manifold, LS6 28lb injectors, stock TB
FTP 98mm clear lid, truck 85mm maf, smooth bellow
SE 1-7/8" headers with 3" xpipe true duals under axle with Spintech super pro street mufflers.
Stock T56 and LS7 clutch, stock steel driveshaft
MWC lower arms, panhard bar, and tunnel mount torque arm. No front sway bar, stcok rear sway bar lowered down.
I built a 8.8 rear narrowed 3" per side, 4.10 gears, GT500 torsen diff, Moser 31 spline axles.
17x4.5 15x10 with 26" Hoosier slicks.

Car weighed 3600lbs with 1/2 tank fuel and weighed 3860 with me in it.... I'm 6' 3" and 260..... doesn't help much..lol.

Car made 400/382 on a dynojet and Tuned by Bluecat.

I was on a 28" et pro radial but the best time I got was a 12.20 @113, switched to the 26" Hoosier slicks and turned a 11.99 @113 in 2500 da. Recently went 11.80 @ 115 in 14-1500 da. Later that day at a different track I went 11.90 @ 116 in 2500 da. Its been fun, hoping to improve with more passes. Only about 15 passes on the setup.

See my sig in Houston July heat. 3,250 lbs with driver. It's very doable in cool air on a 50 shot once I fix the dragging breaks and get the tune fixed so it doesn't hit the limiter on gear changes.

Weight reduction, converter and a little nitrous go a long way.

Yes it would be, but I completely forgot to list my cam. Running a Vengeance Racing VRX5 camshaft. We were at 98% duty cycle on injectors. I had some ls3 42lb but was told they wouldn't be very efficient on my build. Said he'd rather max stock out. I should have gotten some 36lb injectors instead.

H/C/I hitting limiter on 1-2 and 2-3 shift. Possibly a 10 second car after tranny rebuild.

Nice.....love me some solid running bolt on cars. You learn alot doin it that way. I tell people all the time to get to the 11s before doin internal mods. The engines are plenty capable of doin that.

Like my bolt on ls1 should have been 11.0 or 10.9 but I made some mistakes and am learning along the way. Making hp is easy. The hard part is getting the car to use the first 330' efficiently. That just takes time and a lot dedication at the track

Thanks, I appreciate it. Its been fun and a great learning experience. I think I was running 16psi in them on that pass. I bought the slicks used from a buddy for $100. They've been used on several cars...lol. One guy walked up to me and said his car had been 10.29 on them.

I can damn near say goodbye to the 11s! I was able to take my stock head/cam/exhaust C6 and run 11.07@125. Clutch and gear are such an overlooked mod on the Corvettes. Hope to be posting in the 10 second club very soon. Its funny when the last mods you do are everyone's first. Get that z back to the track scotty and get some more passes!
