Ok so i went to the track yesterday with 99 trans am and the first pass I made was an 11.54 at 115 with a 1.52 60 foot. The car is damn near full weight outside of the rear seat being removed and front sway bar taken off, other than that its got everything, even working a/c lol.

Mods: pacesetter logntube headers, phab x-pipe, 42# injectors, stock ls6 intake, stock throttle body, stock 799 heads, 3.73 gear, stock suspension outside of the pan hard bar from MWC, BTR stage 3 n/a cam, FTI 4400 converter, RPM level 4 4l60e, and the tune is the rich tune that was on the car when i bought it with the old setup. Future mods are ported throttle body, chris 1313, under drive pulley, ad a better tune.

Needless to say I'm very happy with how well the car performed yesterday in 90 degree weather. Oh and the DA was at 1900. I will post the video once the laptop stops freezing up on me when I try to upload it.

@Z28Z06 I was running a 295/55r15 hoosier drag radial, I'm going to go up next time with a set of 26's and set of 28 inch mickeys and see the difference between two on the same day.

We have similar combo's I picked up mph shifting from 6500 to 6800 and et dropped a little bit, wouldn't hurt to try bumping it up. Also out of curiosity what is your shift extension with the Fti 4400. I have their regular 3800 and was thinking about switching to the 4400.

It's drops down to 5700 after shifting.

Thanks! I brought it up to 1500-1700 on all of my passes that day. Slowest pass was 11.57.

Hell yeah! I love the cam. The car suprised a lot of people that day for being a cammed and converter car. The new goal is to hit 11.2x-11.3x now that it has the Chris 1313, and underdrive pulley on it. Next will be a good throttle body. But shooting for 11.2x cam only full weight.
