Thumbs up Finally hit snake eyes! 11.87 @ 122.8 - Update - 11.18 @ 123.2!!

Hey guys,

Went to TMP today and ran a new best of 11.87 @ 122.8 mph on a 2.01 60' @ +800' DA

not only did I break into 11's, but I also finally broke the stock 10-bolt a couple passes later (it's taken a beating)

Time to throw in my S60, a real tire, and dig deeper into the 11's

Congrats. Soon you will be chasing for 10's.
Did you have to get towed home?

Congrats! I'm hoping to be in the low 11's as well. Just put the FAST 92/92 setup on which should put me at 470rwhp. I hope my 10 bolt has better luck than yours.

Very impressive mph for sure! What is your raceweight, and what tire and wheel setup do you have?

Well, I finally got her back up and running with a good tire, drivetrain & suspension setup (see sig)

Raceweight not confirmed, but I'm guessing ~3700lbs
Gained weight in the drivetrain but dropped 60lbs in wheels/tires and deleted A/C

Got some seat time, and with minimal suspension tuning, here's what she managed

Attachment 718931

Still some work to do on suspension to get the short time down some...also planning a K-member swap to drop some weight off the front, however BIG improvement since April run...really happy with how the car is working so far

Let's see if we can get that 10.99999 before year-end

Nice job. Looks like that heavy S60 didn't slow you down any

It makes the 10-bolt look like a tooth pick...but I think the weight I took out of the car (ie. lighter wheels, !A/C, lighter clutch) offsets most of the weight gain in the drivetrain...T56 Magnum I think is also about 20lbs heavier than the stock T56

Mamo worked AFR 215 cathedral heads @ 60cc ~11.5:1
Mamo spec'd 227/231 cam
Mamo ported and shaved FAST 102 & NW 102 TB

Thanks man,
S-Trac with 4.10 gears and 27 x 11.5 Hoosier QTP
I think it's trapping around 6200rpm...
26" tire or 4.30-4.56 gears would work better but I built it to leave room for spray and extra sidewall on the 27" tire is nice

Yes sir! Best trap was 123.95mph...I did switch from a standard SSRA to a mega mouth SSRA with my A/C delete (busted the standard one pulling off the road), so that was probably worth a little

I think she'll hit 125 and maybe that magic 10.9999 in better air
