Default Hopefully just passing through!

As title states hopefully just making my way through the 11 sec range and entering 10's soon. I submitted a request to become a member for now late this past week. Posting up my fastest slip on nitrous. But I was in 11's on motor as well can post that slip too if anyone interested. Very poor conditions on this particular night...very humid 80+ degrees and DA's never dropped below 2200 the entire evening. I was entry number 75.

Car is a stock bottom end lq4, Lloyd Elliot stage 2 243's, TSP 228/232 .600/.600" 112+2, ls6 intake/Tb. 4l60e precision 3500 stall, 10 bolt w/ 3.73's at time of this pass. Tuned by Twisted Synergy Motorsports. Nitrous outlet 78mm wet plate kit 150 shot maximizer 4 progressive controller and lnc-2000. Racetronix 255 pump with Hotwire kit, stock lines and rails and Bosch 42@43.5 psi injectors from TSP. UMI rear control arms non adjust, qa1 torque arm, UMI frame connectors, Kyb mono tube stock style replacement shocks and stock springs. Mickey et street as drag radials and sportsman front runners on billet specialties wheels. 11.24 on spray 11.85-11.90 on motor very consistently. 3650# with me in it. 421rwhp and 579rwhp motor/n2o respectively...however the 579 dynomite number was with 4 degrees pulled using lnc -2000 and made this passes with 5 degrees pulled. All else stock still has AC etc. only weight reduction was spare tire removed but nitrous is in place of that now.

Made some changes since this race night, and a few more are to come in search of 10's. I have installed ls6 valley cover,a FAST 92/NW 92/92mm plate ... an s60 spool 35spline axles with 3.73's installed, with a new chromoly driveshaft. I installed a MWC 8 point roll bar. Removed AC, removed tcs and cruise modules. Installed qa1 single adjustable rear shocks. I need a re tune. Car is running too off with the new intake and Tb combo. I'd like to up to a 200 shot at time of re-tune but I'm not set on that on my stock lq4 short block . I installed a Mike Norris catch can.

I have a full tubular front suspension with manual rack and qa1 single adjustable coilovers with 275 springs that I purchased off another member here sitting on garage floor waiting to go on. I have an SJM abs block delete and line lock kit along with front end waiting install, and a tick performance battery relocation kit that I plan on using and putting battery where cd changer is now with that kit to keep nitrous bottle as is. I also plan to switch to a full slick and replace the et street ss, and hopefully cut some more weight out of car some how.

Current weight with above listed upgrades is now 3760# with me in it. Heavy bitch. But with above listed upgrades all installed and some better weather I'm really optimistically hoping for a consistent 10.50 @ 128+

Let me know what you all think...good/bad/indifferent... suggestions are always welcome. I was hoping for some more out of combo but cam is small and heads aren't the greatest. Most upgrades in this car's future at this point would be a 370-408 forged bottom end stroker kit and possibly a th400 with a trans brake and maybe some drag brakes ... other than that I'm kind out out of room unless I change directions.

Dyno sheet from mods at time of above listed time slip for the record. Not sure what to expect now from added 92mm setup and added rotating mass of the s60

The weight is holding you back. The more weight you can shed the better. Good luck.

I agree, this thing is stupid heavy. Once I install the tubular front end, and remove power steering with the manual rack... I really don't know where else to save any significant amounts of weight now.
