How to Run 11's

I was wondering what everyone uses to run 11's on the Ls's, without nitro. What parts can I do to run 11's all engine. What is the easiest and least expensive way to get in the 11's without nitro being put on.

it is all about getting the power to the ground. if you can effectively do that it won't take much more than bolt-ons for high 11's imho.

Yeah, I would think with a totally proper race tuned suspension, and some good weight reduction, nice sticky tires, you put on max bolt-ons with a good tune and youre high 11's. If you decide to do a cam, or even a baby cam, makes it that much easier.

As said before, the motor has the power, it is just a matter of putting it to the ground. Suspension and bolt ons will get you there. I am hoping to get there without headers. Beeing an M6 this will be dificult.

Yup, good suggestions, but please, not nitro, lol, it's a pet peeve of mine. They run nitro in top fuel funny cars, n2o..nitrous...spray, just not nitro :jest: Good luck on your quest

ya you can do it with only bolt ons and susention

i puled a best of 12.38@112 with a 1.84 60ft
3600lbs, stock susention, lid, catback, nitto, 4000 clutch dump

11's are harder with M6 cars, A4's just need a big stall. You gotta get the 60 down, so clutch, suspension and good tires, then drive the hell outta it and you are there :-)

My bolt-on combo is in my signature below and a video of my wheels up run. You can do it, good luck.

ya with a m6 car you really have to know how to drive that bitch

whith headers and a pully i would have been there :D

Did you have it tuned ???

Do you have a cam in it ???

how streetable is you car with a stall that big ???

how much does your car weight ???

I'd say swaybars, STB, shocks, Control Arms, 3.73's all tied into headers, CB, Lid, and clutch w/ DR's.. You should be there...I'm saving up :)

Yes, it's was tuned on a dyno..
No cam, stock internals..
The converter was the best investment and is very streetable. I too was worried, but my tuner reassured me and I love it.
In the video, it was 3525 race weight.
