I drive almost 120 miles round trip in mixed driving, mostly heavy traffic. It does great, no problem. You take a minor hit on MPG, but I didn't build it for that. The car is my main family car, my wife drives it to work also. It is nothing special, most bolt ons and a big stall, no major lightening, I still had all the seats in for the 11.73. I'll try for a new best a little lighter this fall.
here is a vid:
11.73 pass
Good luck!

i have been thinking of getting rid of my auto car and buying a different SS with M6, just because i think they are more fun to drive. And 2 of the guys that i know that just did convertors, are now having trouble with their transmissions shifting. that is why i dont wont to do a stall.

I have a TCI SSF 3500. I drove it 10K miles last year all over Germany to the races. Alot of the driving was on the Autobahn at over 120 mph. My tranny is stock and it has never had any shifting issues. A decent stall converter and cam will put you in the 11s. You will have to get the computer tuned for the mods though.
