make sure to do your research on the parts above, you dont want to get stuck wiht second rate parts....also when looking into the torque converter your gonna have to get a larger one like 3600 or higher if your gonna make elevens with boltons...just do your hoework before you buy anything....peole on here will be happy to help out

with my mods in sig- i think if i had more weight reduction (all i have now is !spare and jack, !back seats, and ! front swaybar) i might see 11.9, or damn close to it. or even with ls6 intake and pulley i may see 11.9.

you usually need full bolt-ons plus a stall, and sticky tires are a given. very few people get 11's without full bolt-ons but it isn't impossible.

If I were to start all over again and mod a stock ls1 car these are the parts i would start off with:

Kooks 1 7/8 stepped headers
Yank 4K+ convertor
LS6 or FAST LSX intake
homported throttle body
ASP underdrive pulley
3:73 or 4:10 gear
LS1 Edit or HPtuners
A little weight reduction

With these parts you should have no prob seeing 11.99 with decent air temps, most people will recommend these exact parts as well, good luck with your new setup...

I had

Lid, filter, SLP maf, smooth bellows, ported tb, LS6 intake, asp pulley, Meziere electric water pump, MSD plug wires, L/T headers, no cats, cut-out, 3.73 gears, slicks/skinnies, tuning and went 12.088 @ 115.45 with the stock TC. Ofcourse my car was a late model 2000 and got 241 heads from the factory. With a 3600 TC I would have hit 11s easy. I also had a BMR torque arm, LCAs, K member, upper/lower A-arms, jack/spare removed, seats removed, floor mats removed on a 1/4 tank of gas.
