Default 11.47@117.8 MS4 cam/tsp LS6 stg1 heads

I finally broke into the 11's, modifications in sig. does my final MPH seem low?, the runs were made in roughly 600-900 DA air - There was no KR during the run, and i'm running around 12.4:1 a/f ratio at WOT. I would think i'd gain more than 20mph in the back half of the 1/4 mile, but maybe that's the way it is with a loose converter and drag radials at 26psi? Should I be looking to get better times with my setup or is this average? Thank you! Here is the timeslip (theres also a video of the run in my sig):

Yeah, I would think it should be faster. I trapped 114.5, but you are lighter, pulled a hell of a better 60', and have better heads, and a bigger cam then I do. Plus I only put 396 to the wheels. But then again, I think my mph is low.

Do you think locking the converter after the 2-3 shift would help? My car weighs around 3550 with me in it.

you should pick up way more than 20 mph between the 1/8 and 1/4 marks. your 1/8 mile looks strong, but the 1/4 mile does not. i would look into the tune, recheck the valvetrain, correct pushrods, etc. notice your opponent (which appears to be a fairly stock ls1 fbod) picked up 22 mph?

possibly the converter? i dunno...a **** ton of variables.

Thank you for your input , i'm going to try locking the converter next time out at the track to see if that helps any. I need to check the tune as well.

That's about right. I run the same as you -2 mph. But I have a slightly smaller stall and a much smaller cam.

1/8th mile looks strong but the 1/4th doesn't reflect it. I would expect you to pick up more than 20mph from the 1/8th on.

Yeah probably, I gain a little over 22 almost 23. Especially with a cam that big, it should be ripping up top. I'm willing to bet your converter is not very efficient or the tranny might be slipping just a little bit in 3rd. You could also try leaning it out just a wee bit more, how much timing are you running?

FWIW with stock heads and a baby TR224 plus normal bolt ons I picked up 25mph from the 1/8th on, although it's an m6 car. I still think his setup should pick up a lot more from the 1/8th on.
