Default 11s with stock motor?

I've run 12.7 with only Longtubes, muffler, and a lid on 2.73 gears and street tires..no tune...

Does anyone think it would be possible to get into the 11s without a cam or any other engine mods?

Just from adding a stall, gears, drag radials, and tune? Some people have gotten .5 from a stall... and I'm only .8 from 11s.

Yes it is possible. Get a good stall, gears, and a tune, and pray your 10-bolt makes it too.

Yeah, but most people are not willing to chop their cars up to get down to the weight those guys are at.

I have not chopped one thing in my car, and it does not look gutted. I'm sitting at 3100 with me in it.

Matt what have you removed from the car and how did you make enough power to run 11's on a stock motor with bolt on? What kind of bolt ons are we talking?

I have a stock LS1 with headers, intake, exhaust, stall, gears, tune, & ET streets that runs 11.39 @ 122 MPH on a TNT Wet 150 HP shot! It can be done with an A4. If you can't power shift it won't happen with a 6-Speed. I use the vette servo, OEM Chevy Trailblazer stall (2600-3200) When you get the tune make sure they remove the torque management (very important). I over fill the tranny with 1 qt of B&M Trickshift. I believe my car weighs 3500+ with me in it. Good Luck!

OK, let me rephrase. I don't mean "literally" chopped up. I wouldn't expect to see a hole in the floor board, etc. Most people are not willing to "remove" all the stuff you have to remove to get to that weight.

Did you say corvette servo? I hope you didn't pay extra for that. lol

A high stall 3500 or so, tune and dr will get you real close.

you have removed about 400-500 pounds. thats worth .4-.5 tenths.

my friend ran 11.75 and another 11.67 on bolt ons no cams/head work
