so close to 11's

Drove 4 hours to a track that has better air hoping for 11's. The air was great at 300 DA but it was only 50 degrees out so the track was cold. Tried a motor only pass and it ran way better than in our normal crappy air. With a 2.11 60ft. it went 13.62@102.

It was cold out and I couldn't get the bottle pressure to stay above 900, I need a heater but would rather have the NANO. Spraying 135 right out of the hole it got about the same 60ft. as my home track, a 1.78 dead hooking, but it ran way better. It's best was a 12.09@113....so close to an 11. I had a half a tank of gas, wish there was less and I may have squeaked the 11 out, I was tempted to start tearing back seats out!

All in all I'm happy with a full weight car that I drove 4 hours to the track to run that good. I just need some LT's and an LS6 intake with a good tune and I'm sure it would be there no problem.

Yes, the 1.78 was with 315 M/T DR's on TT2's. When it got the 1.79 at my home track in Amarillo it was a set of borrowed 17'' ZR1 wheels with 26x11.5 ET Streets. I DD the 315's and got them for looks and I hate crappy street tires going up in smoke on the street. I want to get a set of 15'' Bogarts with skinnies up front for the strip only.

I didn't have a big enough jet size to go with a 150 shot, I think I'm gonna get them and go back to see if it'll run that 11!
