So you have a head/cam car that only goes high 12's with a 110 trap speed? |
You either can't drive or there is something wrong with the car.. I ran a 12.9 with a lid and exhaust.. |

thats pretty good actually. 99 Camaro? Was this done on the factory tires as well? |
Your could really use some good tires and a tune. That setup should be low 12's high 11's. |
yeah, its definitely down on power, my full exhaust and lid car traps that high, what power did it make when you got it tuned? |
if vegas is anything like tucson his times are ok but still alot left on the table. |
My stock firehawk ran a 12.9, and its automatic. You need a dyno tune, something is wrong. |
Yes, my 12.9 was on street tires. |
Yeah, what they said. There is a leak somewhere, fix it and it will be a totally different animal. |

Good job If you get your 60 down with some really good tires I don't see why you won't be in the 11s. If I can get my heavy ass goat to run a 12.2 with just a cam I don't see why a head/cam Fbody can't do the same. It's all about the 60 foot time. Before I ran a 12.2 I was running 13.1X at 110mph with a 60foot time the same as yours. I drop the 60 foot time to 1.78 and I run a 12.2 so 60foot is key. imo. regardless sounds like you have a nice car and I bet you'll be in the low 12s soon :) |

i would get a good tune first. your mph seems really low for ~400 horse. read up on some launch techniques on this site to get that 60 under 2 seconds. |
